Ok, so If you haven't heard of it yet, The Zombie March is a march where you dress up as a zombie and march down Albert street to raise food for the food bank. The first Zombie March happened in October 2008, and there will be another march this year too! The Zombie March for 2009 will be held on Friday, October 9th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Everyone will march, as zombies, down Albert st. from the Legislative building to Victoria park and back. I participated in this event last year to raise food for the food bank, and let me tell you, it was a blast! I even won a prize (coupons for the movie theatre)! It's free to join the march all you have to do is dress up and bring food! I know this isnt until October but I saw an event notice on facebook and couldn't resist! Thats super cool, it's so original, i guess you could say. I had heard about that and had nooo idea it was for the food bank. Now it makes a LOT more sense!
